Lead Dog is a proudly independent software company based in Frisco, Texas, built to serve the real-world needs of small home service businesses. The journey to launch Lead Dog took about a year, led by founder Nate Frazier, who brought the idea to life with the support of a talented team of developers. Drawing on his extensive experience working alongside creators of large-scale commercial construction software, Nate saw firsthand the challenges contractors face with overly complex or ill-fitting tools. This insight fueled his commitment to develop a simpler, faster, and more effective platform tailored specifically for home service contractors.

Bruno, Nate’s 12-year-old Rottweiler, became the heart of Lead Dog’s brand. His strength, loyalty, and clever qualities perfectly embody the spirit of the company. Beyond just a mascot, Bruno inspired the name itself—Lead Dog isn’t just about managing projects, it’s about helping contractors lead their markets.
